The box itself was fairly standard fare to which you may say "of course it's a box" but in the world of "Collector's Editions" there is no such thing as "a box". Even the most mundane element can be a work of packaging genius, the Star Wars: The Old Republic box was this layered masterwork of glazed cardboard beauty. In this case though, we start with a simple box.
Once out though you got to really drink in the awesome contents of the box, the first thing that you see right off the bat is the 16" Arno statue. The statue itself is a sort of hybrid French Revolutionary, Batman, Hunchback of Notre Damme perched atop a gargoyle with a French revolutionary flag similar to the American Revolutionary flag that came in the Assassin's Creed III collector's edition (unfortunately no real life Assassin's Flags came with this box). The statue itself is a high quality resin statue by Pure Arts for Ubicollectables. Some assembly is required and we'll return to Arno in a moment.
Sifting through the materials I pulled out a small box containing the music box, a CD and the art book and the game.
