I have been an aspiring comic writer and artist since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I don't know how long you can continue to be an “aspiring” writer/artist, but 32 years doesn't seem all that long does it? I have shelves of sketchbooks and papers of characters stories of heroes, villains, and monsters that have been banging about in my head for years.
My Video-Game-Fu is not quite as strong as my contemporaries on the site. I played Mario Brothers 3 once. It was meh (kidding of course). Where Ol' Nick's prowess lies is in comics. I'll let ya know why Spider-Man is a better than Superman. Why Hellboy is the most original and imaginative charter created in the last 30 years. Why Locke & Key's Guide to the Known Keys is the most touching and heartbreaking single issue of comics and if you don't like it you're an unfeeling monster. All that plus my brother is the Editor In Chief. So, yay nepotism.
